Renderings from GKA Design Group reveal a nine-story mixed-use property at 35-01 Vernon Boulevard Long Island City, Queens. The developer, Agayev Holding, is now pursuing zoning text amendments to permit construction for the nine-story building, which is located in an area currently zoned for three- to four-story multifamily buildings.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for Sendero Verde Phase I, a 15-story building at 60 East 112th Street and a ten-story building at 75 East 111th Street in East Harlem, Manhattan. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by L+M Development Partners, Jonathan Rose Companies, and Acacia Network, the Sendero Verde complex will yield nearly 700 residences when all phases are complete, along with numerous outdoor green spaces and community facility space for social services. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 324 units for residents at 30 to 110 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $15,806 to $162,800.
Permits have been filed for an 11-story mixed-use building at 50 Sackman Street in Ocean Hill, Brooklyn. Located between Herkimer Street and Fulton Street, the lot is near the Broadway Junction subway station, serviced by the A, C, J, and Z trains. TOT Developers is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Exterior work is wrapping up on 212 West 93rd Street, a 14-story condominium building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Eran Chen, head of ODA, and developed by Landsea Homes and Leyton Properties, the 65,000-square-foot structure will yield 20 residential units designed by GRADE New York and marketed by Compass. Homes are expected to range from one- to four-bedroom layouts, including some full-floor penthouses. 212 West 93rd Street will also contain space for the Shaare Zedek Synagogue, which will have its own entrance on the first floor of the edifice. The Vorea Group is the general contractor for the property, located near the corner of Broadway and West 93rd Street.
Leasing is now underway at Brooklyn Crossing, a new 51-story residential tower in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Located at 18 Sixth Avenue, the property is the latest building to debut within the 22-acre Pacific Park master-planned development zone.
