Two long-term lease renewals totaling 4,694 square feet were recently announced at 3010 Westchester Avenue within Purchase Professional Park in Westchester. Developed by Simone Development Companies and Fareri Associates and designed by Design Development Architects, the park features four buildings that total 220,000 square feet of Class A office and medical space. The buildings were constructed between 1969 and 1973.

262 Fifth Avenue’s Façade Climbs Higher in NoMad, Manhattan

At number six on our annual countdown of the 31 tallest buildings under construction in New York is 262 Fifth Avenue, an 860-foot-tall residential skyscraper in NoMad, Manhattan. Designed by Meganom with SLCE Architects as the executive architect and developed by Boris Kuzinez of Five Points Development, the 56-story structure will yield 26 full-floor and duplex condominium units with an average scope of 3,200 square feet, including at least one quadruplex unit. PG New York is heading the facade installation. The tower stands on a 5,000-square-foot plot at the southwest corner of Fifth Avenue and West 29th Street.

Its design pays homage to the site’s history as a former sugar cane processing facility and later a beer distribution center, and notably will creates new public open spaces along Newtown Creek, including the recently opened Malt Drive Park.
