Construction has topped out on 87 Irving Place, a seven-story residential building in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Designed by Asher Hershkowitz Architect and developed and built by Robert Michaeli of Brooklyn B Company Group under the 87 Irving Realty LLC, the 83-foot-tall project consists of a new three-story addition atop a former school building, and will yield 30 rental units with an average scope of 492 square feet and a 35-foot-long rear yard. The property is located on an interior lot between Putnam Avenue and Fulton Street.

LPC To Review Proposal For Riverside Park Dinosaur Playground Reconstruction on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission is set to review an $8.66 million reconstruction project for Dinosaur Playground in Riverside Park on Tuesday, November 28. Led by Stephen Whitehouse of Starr Whitehouse, this initiative aims to transform the playground situated between West 96th and West 98th Streets along Riverside Drive on Manhattan‘s Upper West Side.

KD Sagamore Capital is listed as the owner, Corcoran New Development is the exclusive marketing and leasing agent, and Titanium Construction Services is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of Grand Avenue and Fulton Street.

Designed by Saleh & Associates and developed by Arie Bar Chaim of Brooklyn AZ Inc., the 50-foot-tall structure spans 5,898 square feet and yields seven rental units with an average scope of 842 square feet, a 37-foot-long rear yard, and one enclosed parking space. Brooklyn AZ Inc. 289 also served as the general contractor for the property, which is located by the corner of Classon and Greene Avenues.

585 Union Street Tops Out In Gowanus, Brooklyn

Designed by HCN Architects, the building yields 41 rental units ranging from studios to two-bedroom layouts with 13 designated as affordable housing. Maxie Development, LLC is listed as the owner of the property, which is located by the corner of 31st Street and 36th Avenue, and Modern Spaces is currently in charge of leasing and marketing at Urban36.

LPC To Review Renovations to 32 Avenue Of The Americas in Tribeca, Manhattan

On November 28, the Landmarks Preservation Commission will review a new proposal from Marvel Architects and Rudin Management for the renovation of 32 Avenue of the Americas in Tribeca. This 27-story Art Deco building, originally designed by Ralph Thomas Walker and built between 1912-1916 with expansions in 1930-1932, is an important piece of the history of development in Tribeca. Recognized as an Individual NYC Landmark and Interior Landmark since 1991, the building has undergone various approved renovations, including a storefront masterplan in 2013 and lobby and main building entries renovation in 2022.
