Goose Property Management has received $87.6 million in financing to complete construction on a 186-unit rental property in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located at 575 Grand Street in a busy pedestrian corridor, the development will top out at nine stories and comprise approximately 175,000 square feet.

Designed by Amie Gross Architects and developed by Hudson Companies and Project Hospitality, the structure yields 48 residences and on-site supportive services. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 16 units for residents at 60 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $31,852 to $57,300.

Located between East 152nd Street and Westchester Avenue, the lot is one block from the Jackson Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. John Dibattista of New York Catholic Homes is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Exterior work is complete on the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Residences, a 45-story skyscraper at 1185 Broadway in NoMad. Designed by Rafael Vinoly and developed by Marriott, Ritz Carlton Hotels, and Flag Luxury Properties, the 580-foot-tall reinforced concrete tower will yield 250 guest rooms spread across 150,000 square feet and 16 one- and two-bedroom penthouse residences on the upper levels. Lendlease is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of Broadway and West 28th Street. The Erin Boisson Aries team at Christie’s International Real Estate is handling the sales of the penthouses.
A new collection of images from the Jewish Theological Seminary reveals a completed expansion and transformation of the institution’s Morningside Heights campus in Upper Manhattan. Designed by award-winning husband-and-wife studio Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects, the campus is now home to a new library, upgraded residences, arts and cultural spaces, and new open spaces to improve collaboration and community engagement.
