Permits have been pre-filed for a 58-story tower at 601 West 29nd Street in the Hudson Yards district of Manhattan. The skyscraper, which will share block 675 in Manhattan with a second structure, was first announced in the summer of 2018, with renderings just coming out this June. Douglaston Development will be responsible for the project.
Alchemy Properties, alongside Daishin Securities, successfully acquired the site of 378 West End Avenue for $158 million last week, which will eventually become the home of a ground-up 19 story condominium building on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. It will be combined with a new 12-story structure, in conjunction with landmarks approvals, to be built at 260-262 West 78th Street, the former location of The Collegiate School.
146 Linden Boulevard has now topped-off in Flatbush, Brooklyn. The seven-story building will contain 18 rental-sized apartments measuring 705 square feet apiece. Above the second floor, select residences will include outdoor balcony and terrace areas. In total, the building measures 12,696 square feet.
Permits have been filed for a six-story building for the Chinese Christian Herald Crusade, a Queens-based social service organization. The religious immigrant outreach firm will be creating a center at 132-62 Pople Avenue in Flushing, Queens. The firm purchased the location from developers Lux Pople LLC in May 2017 for $1.6 million.
