Parkview Financial has provided $66 million in construction financing for developers to complete a new 131-unit multifamily rental building in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. Construction has already broken ground at 57 Caton Place, where the building will eventually rise nine stories above ground.
Permits have been filed for a 12-story mixed-use building at 260 West 126th Street in Harlem, Manhattan. Located between Frederick Douglass Boulevard and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, the lot is one block north of the 125th Street subway station, serviced by the A, B, C, and D trains. Joel Weiss of Heartfelt Townhouse Build is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 67-47 Alderton Street, a three-story residential building in Rego Park, Queens. Designed by Urban Architectural Design, the structure yields 18 residences and 11 parking spaces. Available on NYC Housing Connect are six units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $68,572 to $139,620.
Exterior work is progressing on FÖRENA, a 12-story residential building at 540 Sixth Avenue in Chelsea. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Landsea Homes and DNA Development, the 80,000-square-foot reinforced concrete structure will yield 50 units in one- to three-bedroom layouts marketed by Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes of The Eklund Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman. Ryder Construction Co. is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of West 14th Street and Sixth Avenue.
An extensive renovation of the historic ‘Lever House’ in Midtown East officially kicked off this week. Valued at $100 million, the project aims to transform and modernize the commercial property into a boutique office tower, while also restoring areas of the building that have not withstood the tests of time.
