Marriott International has announced that they are imminently officially breaking ground on a new Ritz Carlton at 1185 Broadway in NoMad, a trendy Manhattan neighborhood for new hotels. Marriot, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, and the Flag Luxury Group are responsible for the development.

Located at 2800 Goulden Avenue, at the perpendicular intersection of West 197th Street and Goulden Avenue, a new nursing education facility will soon span 51,670 square feet. The building is being designed by Urbahn Architects PLLC, an architecture firm located in the Garment District in Manhattan.
Topping-out this past April, Studio Gang‘s Solar Carve Tower along Chelsea’s High Line is now nearing full completion as its dazzling glass facade rises above Tenth Avenue, between West 13th and 14th Streets. Located at 40 Tenth Avenue, and sitting to the immediate north of the Standard Hotel, the 10-story building will be entirely encased in glass, and constructed with reinforced concrete. The Jeanne Gang-designed structure will span 139,000 square feet in all, and is being co-developed by Aurora Capital and William Gottlieb Real Estate.
Permits have been pre-filed for a thirty-story mixed-use building at the waterside 3875 9th Avenue in Inwood, Manhattan. The site is two blocks away from the 207th Street subway station, serviced by the 1 train, and four blocks from the 207th Street subway station, end of the line for the A trains.
