Foundation work is in progress at 31-12 38th Street, setting the stage for a seven-story, 16,900-square-foot, 19-unit mixed use building with studio space on the ground floor.
Construction has topped out on the four-story, eight-unit mixed-use building under development at 325 Henry Street, also known as 112 Atlantic Avenue, located in Cobble Hill. All eight of the project’s condominiums are also sold out, the Brooklyn Daily Eagle reported. The latest building permits indicate the structure encompasses 25,244 square feet and rises 50 feet to its roof, not including bulkhead elements.
Late last year, Century Development Group signed an agreement with Starwood Hotels & Resorts to bring a 250-key Westin hotel to the mixed-use project planned at 137-61 Northern Boulevard, located on the corner of Leavitt Street in downtown Flushing. Century told The Real Deal that the latest development plans call for a 12- or 13-story building, which, in addition to the hotel, would also include 50 residential units.
The White Plains Common Council has approved plans for a five-story, 62-unit mixed-use building at 136-158 Westmoreland Avenue, just south of downtown White Plains, in Westchester County. The project, dubbed Westmoreland Lofts, will measure 58,000 square feet, Westfair reported. It will include a 97-car parking garage, 2,700 square feet of light manufacturing space and 1,600 square feet of retail space on the ground floor for a microbrewery. The apartments above will be rentals, ranging from studios to two-bedrooms.
