Permits have been filed for two conjoined, four-story, mixed use, commercial-residential buildings at 102-9 and 102-11 37th Avenue, in the North Corona neighborhood of Queens. The site is situated two blocks directly north of the 103rd Street-Corona Plaza subway station, serviced by the 7 line, offering access to Manhattan.
Permits have been filed for two three-story residential buildings at 155-12 and 155-14 Fairfield Place, in Lindenwood, Queens. The site is a mile and a half from the Aqueduct Racetrack Subway Station, and the JFK Airport Subway Station, both serviced by the A trains. Harris Hussnain, owner of the site, will be responsible for the development.
A new close-up rendering has been revealed of the Brooklyn Bridge Park condominium project, now officially known as Quay Tower. The 28-story building will be located at the southern end of Pier 6, in Brooklyn Bridge Park, along the East River. The project, designed by ODA Architecture’s Eran Chen, will offer residents permanently unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline, New York Harbor, East River, as well as the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges.
A new proposal has been submitted to the LPC for 75 Varick Street, in Hudson Square. Trinity Real Estate’s One Hudson Square is set to receive a rooftop renovation, and the top of the 17-story building is slated to be converted to an outdoor recreational space.
Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 31-35 137th Street, in Flushing, Queens. The site is ten blocks away from the Main Street Subway Station, the final stop for the 7 train in the borough. Leavitts Park is half a block away from the location, bringing to the neighborhood a football field, baseball diamond, and four tennis courts. Mei Yong Xiao will be responsible for the development.
