The site is nearby the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center commercial intersection and Brooklyn Museum. The Clinton-Washington Avenues Station, serviced by the A and C trains, is a block away. Also nearby is the Pratt Institute campus. Afshari PC will be responsible for the design.

The site is about a mile away from the Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue subway station, the last stop for the A train. The Far Rockaway LIRR station is another five blocks from the subway. Red Group Management will be responsible for the development.

The images depict a slick metal façade, matching the painted black of the bricks on the lower floors, while contrasting with the white-red design of the existing structure.
