Last week, YIMBY profiled the development site at 44-46 Purves Street, a.k.a. 28-27 Thomson Avenue, in the Court Square section of Long Island City. Currently, plans for the site call for a seven-story, 33-unit residential building. Within the last few days, a rendering has been posted on the site’s construction fence, per The Court Square Blog.

Four-Story, Six-Unit Residential Building Planned At 191 Withers Street, Williamsburg

An anonymous Queens-based LLC has filed applications for a four-story, six-unit residential building at 191 Withers Street, in northern Williamsburg. The project will measure 6,325 square feet and its residential units should average 627 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. Woody Chen’s Elmhurst-based Infocus Design & Planning is the architect of record. The 41-foot-wide, 2,418-square-foot property is occupied by a two-story house. Demolition permits have not been filed.

Seven-Story, 90-Unit Residential Building Proposed At 161 Bellair Place, Newark

New Jersey-based developer Rose Agency has proposed building a seven-story, 90-unit residential building at 161 Bellair Place, on the corner of Montclair Avenue in Newark’s Forest Hill section, a neighborhood located in the city’s North Ward. The project would include a parking garage on the first two floors, Jersey Digs reported. The property is currently occupied by a single-story storage facility and a commercial building. The Branch Brook Park station on the Newark Light Rail is three blocks away. The Newark Zoning Board of Adjustment, which must approve to the project for it to move forward, will be presented plans on November 10.
