Steel-Beam Construction Underway At 100 Norfolk Street, 12-Story Condo Project, Lower East Side

Steel beams have been erected up to the second floor of Adam America’s and Horizon Group’s 12-story, 38-condo-unit mixed-use building at 100 Norfolk Street, on the Lower East Side. Bowery Boogie reports construction has been crawling along, and the project may not make its scheduled completion for 2016. The building is over 85% sold, according to REW, and 11,250 square feet of retail is planned. ODA Architecture is designing.


63 Alabama Avenue

Four-Story Storage Warehouse Building Filed At 63 Alabama Avenue, East New York

Benny Imani, operating under an LLC, has filed applications for a four-story, 20,000 square-foot warehouse building at 63 Alabama Avenue, three blocks east from Broadway Junction in East New York. According to Schedule A, the building will be used for storage, and Gerald Caliendo is designing. The plot of land is currently vacant.


75 Kenmare Street

DHA Capital To Develop Mixed-Use Building At 75 Kenmare Street, Nolita

DHA Capital is in contract to purchase the three-story parking garage located at 75 Kenmare Street, in Nolita, for roughly $50 million, according to Bowery Boogie. The new owner plans to develop a 68,000 square-foot mixed-use building featuring luxury residential units and retail space. Most units will measure closer to 1,000 square feet, smaller than other new-construction condos in the area, according to The Real Deal, who was also the first to report the news.

New Look for 239 Tenth Avenue, aka The Getty, High Line Condo Project in West Chelsea

Last week, YIMBY posted an update with the first full renderings for 239 Tenth Avenue, a new eight-unit condominium project that’s about to begin construction on the northwest corner of 24th Street and Tenth Avenue. Now we have another set of images for the building, dubbed “The Getty,” which is being designed by Peter Marino and developed by Victor Group and Shvo.
