Located just north of the neighborhood’s world-famous boardwalk, the proposed development is comprised of 8 primary parcels and will require zoning amendments to permit the construction of the mid-rise, mixed-use buildings.
Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 589 Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The site is located right next to the entrance for the Metropolitan Avenue subway station, serviced by the G and L trains. SL Development will be responsible for the development.

The site is two blocks away from the Pelham Bay Park Station, end of the line for the 6 trains and located at the southern corner of the largest park in New York City, Pelham Bay Park. Fred Lumaj is listed as the developer.
