A new set of unofficial renderings by Siniaevart illustrate evening views of 270 Park Avenue in Midtown East. The JPMorgan Chase headquarters is expected to top out in excess of 1,400 feet above ground, introducing a dominating new form to the Manhattan skyline.
Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 2840 West 19th Street in Coney Island, Brooklyn. Located between Neptune Avenue and Mermaid Avenue, the lot is four blocks west of the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue subway station, serviced by the D, F, N, and Q trains. Choi Fui Tze under the Choi Xing LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Developer Flaneur Hospitality recently revealed renderings and a new name for 250 Fifth Avenue. Now known as “The Fifth Avenue Hotel,” the NoMad project is being designed by Perkins Eastman, PBDW Architects, and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and involves the restoration of a 115-year-old former bank designed by McKim, Mead & White, and the construction of an adjacent 230-foot-tall, 24-story ground-up building.
Façade work is continuing on the forthcoming Canopy by Hilton hotel at 159 Morgan Street in Downtown Jersey City. The ground-up, reinforced concrete structure is topped out at ten stories and will yield a total of 211 rooms. The project includes a rooftop bar and 6,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space, with the main lobby located on the second floor and connected to street level by an elevator. KABR Group is the developer of the property, which will be the first Canopy by Hilton location in New Jersey. Katerra is in charge of construction of the mixed-use building.
INC Architecture & Design has paired up with ASH NYC to complete a new model condominium at Parlour in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Located at 243 Fourth Avenue, the three-bedroom model is one of 19 residences in the 12-story building.
