A rendering has been revealed of the five-story, four-unit residential building planned at 718-720 Jefferson Street, in Hoboken, New Jersey. The developer, Hoboken-based Schmitt Capital, also recently broke ground on the project, Jersey Digs reported Tuesday. All four residential units will be condominiums. Each will have three bedrooms and measure over 2,500 square feet, per plans approved by the city in 2015. Amenities include a six-car garage on the ground floor, a 2,000-square-foot rear yard, and a roof terrace. Lee Levine Architects, also based in Hoboken, is behind the architecture. The 5,000-square-foot assemblage was once occupied by a single-story garage and a two-story house (recessed from the street). Completion can probably be expected in 2017.

Each will measure 4,949 square feet. Across both, their full-floor residential units should average a family-sized 1,200 square feet apiece. Both of the ground-floor units will also feature space in the cellar level. Jose Lockhart’s Brooklyn-based Tecnico Engineering is the applicant of record. The 40-foot-wide, 4,006-square-foot assemblage is currently vacant. The New Utrecht Avenue/62nd Street stop on the D and N trains is three blocks away.

54-Story Residential Tower Approaches 30th Floor at 520 Park Avenue, Upper East Side

The 54-story, 33-unit luxury residential tower under development at 520 Park Avenue (the tower is technically at 45 East 60th Street), on the southern end of the Upper East Side, is now roughly 30 stories tall. Limestone and windows are also now beginning to encapsulate all sides of the tower. The latest update comes as new photos of the project were posted to the YIMBY Forums. The building will eventually encompass 251,892 square feet and stand 780 feet above street level, per the latest permits.
