YIMBY went to check out the views from Olympia, a 33-story residential building at 30 Front Street in DUMBOBrooklyn. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Fortis Property Group, the 401-foot-tall sail-shaped tower will yield 76 condominiums designed by Workstead. The units will come in one- to five-plus-bedroom layouts with sales and marketing led by Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes of the Eklund Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman and Karen Heyman at Sotheby’s. Urban Atelier Group is managing the ongoing construction, Manhattan Concrete created the superstructure, and King Contacting Group is in charge of the CMU work, exterior insulation finish systems, and roofing for the project, which is bound by Front Street to the north, Washington Street to the east, and York Street to the south.

Façade work is wrapping up on 456 Greenwich Street, an eight-story hotel building in Tribeca. Designed by Stephen B. Jacobs Group with Martin Brudnizki Design Studio as the interior designer, and developed by Caspi Development, the 94,000-square-foot structure will yield 96 Art Deco-inspired guest rooms operated by Groupe Lucien Barrière of the Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris. AECOM Tishman is the general contractor for the Lower Manhattan development, which is bound by Greenwich Street to the east, Desbrosses Street to the south, and Washington Street to the west.

Topped-Out 595 Dean Street’s Exterior Begins to Take Shape in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn

Façade installation has begun on 595 Dean Street, a two-building mixed-use development in the Pacific Park complex in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by TF Cornerstone, the complex will yield a total of 798 units between the 23-story West Tower and 28-story East Tower. Residences will come in studio, studio alcove, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts, with 240 homes slated for affordable housing. The development will also contain 72,600 square feet of public open space, ground-floor retail area, a 455-car parking garage, and a Chelsea Piers Field House. TFC Pacific Park GC LLC is the general contractor and MNLA is the landscape designer for the property, which is bound by Pacific Street to the north, 550 Vanderbilt Avenue to the east, 535 Carlton Apartments to the west, and Dean Street to the south.
