Designed by Stonehill Taylor and developed by Sharif El-Gamal of Soho Properties along with MHP Real Estate Services, the nearly $300 million project stands topped out at 29 stories on the corner of Seventh avenue and West 40th Street. The property will contain a total of 234 hotel rooms.

Construction on the Hard Rock Hotel has made a good amount of progress since YIMBY’s last update in January. Located at 159 West 48th Street in Times Square between Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenue, the 225,000-square-foot, 442-foot high, 445-room hotel is designed by Berg + Moss Architects and is being developed by Extell and Hard Rock International.
