The brick envelope of 292 Fifth Avenue is reaching the final stories of the 21-story mixed-use hotel. Designed by Gene Kaufman Architect and developed by Sam Chang, the project is located between West 30th and 31st Streets on the border of both Koreatown and NoMad. The property is set to yield 16 residential units and a hotel operated by Le Meridien.
Toll Brothers City Living recently debuted a collection of model residences at Hudson Tea, a new condominium building at 1425 Hudson Street in Hoboken, New Jersey. The project was designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve with interiors by INC Architecture Design.
Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 186 Huron Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Located between Manhattan Avenue and McGuinness Boulevard, the interior lot is four blocks north of the Greenpoint Avenue subway station, serviced by the G train. Gilad Tamir of Brooklyn-based Greenline Developers Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Construction is approaching street level at 450 Eleventh Avenue in Hudson Yards, site of a 487-foot-tall, 531-room hotel. A good deal of progress has occurred since site YIMBY’s update last October, when excavation was just wrapping up and the foundations walls were still being formed. Designed by DSM Design Group, developed by Marx Development Group, and due to operate under Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, 450 Eleventh Avenue is located between West 36th and 37th Streets, directly across from the Jacob K. Javits Center.
Chan Ascher Architecture has delivered proposals to construct a two-story vertical expansion and an exterior facelift at 16 Leroy Street in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. Located within the Greenwich Village Historic District, the plans require approval from the city’s Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC).
