The Kent is a 30-story residential building at 200 East 95th Street under construction on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Progress is just inches from completion, and the structure is now settling into the surrounding neighborhood.
Permits have been filed for a 19-story residential building at 200 East 20th Street in Manhattan’s Gramercy Park. The development site is less than a block away from the neighborhood’s mysterious namesake, Gramercy Park. CetraRuddy will be responsible for the design.
The first two buildings of Coney Island’s “Ocean Dreams” development appear to have topped-out as glass façades begin to rise on the beachfront structures. The highly anticipated project is expected to strengthen the city’s redevelopment initiatives across the neighborhood.
Permits have been filed for a 13-story mixed-use building 137-61 Northern Boulevard in Flushing, Queens, which will include a 244-key Westin Hotel. Century Development signed an agreement in late 2016 with Starwood Hotels & Resorts to build the Westin as part of the project. George Xu will be responsible for the development.
220 Central Park South is ever so close to becoming the third slender skyscraper to open up in the last few years along Billionaire’s Row. While Central Park Tower has overshadowed its presence across Midtown, that hasn’t taken away from the attraction for this park-bound limestone real estate.
