In an effort to bolster sales at One Manhattan Square, Extell Development Company has unveiled an acre of private outdoor amenities designed by West 8 Urban Design and Landscape Architecture. Located in the Two Bridges section of Manhattan’s Lower East Side, the neighborhood’s signature tower stands 800 feet above the East River and now comprises 100,000 square feet of total amenity space.
Work is moving along at 500 West 22nd Street, an eight-story mixed-use project in Chelsea that YIMBY first reported on in late April 2016. Alternately addressed as 197 Tenth Avenue, the structure is designed by Union Street Studio LLC and developed by Brantwood Capital and will yield eight residential units. The building is located at the intersection of Tenth Avenue and West 22nd Street not far from the High Line, and will span 33,662 square feet with 1,959 square feet of retail space on the ground floor and cellar levels.
Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 2180 Arthur Avenue in Belmont, The Bronx. Located at the intersection of Arthur Avenue and East 182nd Street, the lot is one block north of the 182nd-183rd Streets subway station, serviced by the B and D trains. Franco Sukaj is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Exterior work is progressing on the topped-out Ritz Carlton Hotel at 1185 Broadway in NoMad as the curtain wall approaches the building’s 580-foot-tall pinnacle. Designed by Rafael Vinoly and developed by Marriott, Ritz Carlton Hotels, and Flag Luxury Properties, the 40-story skyscraper will yield 150,000 square feet and 250 guest rooms, which will sit above a multi-story podium rising from the corner of Broadway and West 28th Street.
Leasing has launched for 100 House, a residential development at 100 Hoboken Avenue in Jersey City. Designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners and developed by BNE Real Estate Group, Hoboken Brownstone Company, and McKinney Properties, the six-story building offers a collection of 137 rental units and an assortment of amenities.
